About the Event
At the start time, men and women will compete against eachother kilo for kilo to hit the heaviest snatch first then clean and jerk second. Warm up area is empty bars only, all attempts must be taken on the competition platform. You can take any increase, but no decreasing. The weight on the bar only goes up and you can take as many attempts as you want but if you miss a particular weight 3 times in a row, you must go up or tap out. No press out rule, so however you get the bar overhead and controlled, it counts! Highest combined snatch and clean and jerk total wins!
